I had a quiet day after the busyness of Thanksgiving and decided to make my house a bit more festive for Christmas.
I pretty much leave things as I like them 365 days a year with just a few changes.
I really like to decorate with quilts but find that I have very few quilts that I can bring out for the Christmas season.
I decided that this table runner from my Leaf What May pattern would work on the table.
But I didn’t find any suitable replacements for the rest of the tables.
So a quick project is in hand.
I am starting with three charm packs, I will end up only useing two of them for a total of 64 squares.
The fabric is some what Christmasy and woodsy at the same time.
If you want to join along you can watch this video.
You will need the 3.5″ Small Paths template and fabric that is at least 5″ square. Each square makes one block that finishes at 3.5″.
I need 64 blocks – 8 rows of 8 – which will make a 28″ square quilt. Measure your table and decide how many fabrics you will need.
See you tomorrow.
