We have so much fun watching the grand kiddos. They spent night and we were playing outside near the firewood that we are gathering for the winter. Zachary loves playing around the wood and decided that he needed to build a house.

See that rock on the lower left corner on the ground, that is the “door” to the house. Gosh I just love the creativity and imagination.

No house is complete without a sprinkling of sawdust.

It doesn’t get any more fun than this. The look on his face is priceless.

Don’t forget about the drawing on Sunday for all of you facebook people.

I will be in Bozeman this Saturday for their Quilts on the Lawn. Stop by and say hi if you are around.

Have a great weekend.

See those little purple things hiding in the bushes.

Bears love em.

People love em.

They make great cobblers, taste great in muffins, ice cream, pancakes and jams.

After a few hours of work, this is what you can gather.

Oh my.

Remember to slow down and take it easy.

Recognize this guy?

When I was a little girl, a long, long, time ago, I remember this statue of the mythological lumberjack, Paul Bunyan.

And I thought he was HUGE.

On my trip to Bemidji a few years back, I went to visit Mr. Bunyan again.

Although he is very large, he just didn’t measure up to my childhood image of GIGANTIC.

Funny how some things that we remember as kids just aren’t as large as our memories make them out to be.
